To sign in to Naiku and setup your class rosters, pleases follow the following steps.
1. Log into Infinite Campus and create a sample assignment and align a Naiku assessment. Follow this link for detailed instructions on how to create an assignment and align a Naiku assessment. Name this new assignment "Naiku Sign-in". Do not choose to accept scores (i.e, don't pass scores back to the gradebook as this is only a sample assignment to help you set up your accounts and get students familiar with this new process." Search for a Naiku assessment called "Infinite Campus Sign-in Sample Assessment". Choose to align that assessment to your new assignment. Do this for each section (class) that you teach.
2. Ask students to log in to Infinite Campus. Be sure they have Campus Student enabled. Students should click on the assignment to start the Naiku assessment. Follow this link for detailed instructions on how students should log into Infinite Campus to start the Naiku assessment. When students to do this, your class will be created in Naiku and the students will be placed into this class. This in effect creates your roster in Naiku.
By following the two steps above, you have completed the account creation and sign-in process for teachers and students. You have also created your class roster in Naiku.
As a teacher, each time you want to sign in to Naiku (for example, if you want to go into Naiku to create assessments without aligning them to an Infinite Campus assignment), click on the "Naiku Signiin" assignment and then click on the name of the that Naiku assessment. This will launch you into Naiku to view that assessment. It essentially opens a new browser tab and logs you into your Naiku account. From there, you can go to Assessments to create new assessments. You can do many other things in Naiku too, like Close and Score assessment, or view Class Results and Item Analysis results.
So, use the "Naiku Sign-in" assignment as your link to do a single-sign-on to Naiku.
Coming in the future...
We have asked Infinite Campus to add a more direct way to single-sign-on to Naiku. This is in the works. We'll update you when that single-sign-on option is released and available.
