Learning Resources

Learning Resources are instructional activities that you can give to your students based on their performance on an assessment. Learning resources are linked to standards or learning targets. So based on a student's result on a specific standard or learning target on the assessment, students are automatically recommended to do an activity for intervention, practice, or enrichment.

Creating a New Learning Resource
To create a new learning resource, open an existing curriculum map. Then click on a standard and choose "add resource".

You will then get this pop-up window where you can create your learning resource. All you need to enter is a name for the learning resource and a short description (you can embed URLS to external website). Optionally, you can enter tags, specify the grade and subject, and attach a file.

Attaching Learning Resources to Assessments
Once your learning resource has been created, you can choose to include it on an assessment. When you create an assessment, select the learning resources box (at the top left under Options) to include learning resources on the assessment. You will get a list of learning resources based on the items that are on your assessment. For example, if your assessment has items that are aligned to standard 8.G.C.9, you will see the learning resource that was just created above (which was also aligned to standard 8.G.C.9).

Student Performance and Feedback
After students complete the assessment, they will automatically see a link to those learning targets. The feedback and the learning resource they receive will depend on their performance and the level that you set for those learning targets. All they have to do is click on the learning resource to do the activities.
